Faculty of Science Library is located on the second floor of the old Administratvive Building. The library has come into being in 1992. It has so far acquired 4500 books on botany, biology, chemistry, industrial chemistry, toxicology, environmental science, biotechnology, etc. Indian and foreign journals are subsribed for the faculty which are procured centrally by the HMS Central Library and distributed to the faculty library immediately on receipt of these journals.

The books are purchased by the Central Library on the recommendation of the Dean and the teaching staff of the faculty. Books are processed by the Central Library and are sent to the faculty library regularly. The faculty library has been automated and presently, books are issued to the students in automated mode. As a result the effeciency of the service has been increased many folds.

Library rules in respect to borrowing of books by the members are same as applicable to HMS Central Library. Teachers, students and non-teaching staff are the members of the HMS Central Library and they can borrow books and other reading materials from the Central Library also.
