Majeedia Unani Hospital is one of the pioneers of AYUSH healthcare facility specializing in Unani System of Medicine under the auspices of Jamia Hamdard. It is a clinical hub of traditional medicine integrated with latest medical science encompassing the promotive, preventive, therapeutic and rehabilitative aspects of healthcare delivery system.
It was conceived a long back as a seat of higher learning in Unani Tibb (medicine) by Padamshree Late Hakeem Abdul Hameed Sb. It is a teaching hospital associated with School of Unani Medical Education and Research (SUMER) to provide quality Unani medical education and training to the students. The Hospital is also actively engaged in clinical research for the last three decades.
Majeedia Unani Hospital is a 100 bedded hospital offering quality healthcare services in Unani System of Medicine at affordable cost. The hospital is run by well-experienced staff. The hospital is known for its specialty services in a wide range of illnesses right from hepatitis, diabetic foot, non-healing ulcers, musculoskeletal disorders, skin diseases to various life-style disorders like hypertension, Diabetes mellitus, dyslipidemia, obesity, allergic conditions etc. beside others chronic ailments.

Free Health Camps in Different Places in New Delhi and outside Delhi with the following goals:

The Free health camps are regularly organized jointly by the Clinical departments of School of Unani Medicine and Surgery (SUMER) and Majeedia Unani Hospital. The faculties, hospital staff and students of both PG and UG level are involved actively in these health care programmes. Medical camps are conducted to carry out health promotion, education, awareness, screening, counselling and preventive healthcare services to deprived, underprivileged and poor community in nearby rural areas. All the service activities (medical consultation, therapies, investigations, free medicine distribution etc.) at the camps are rendered free of charge to the attendees at the camp.
